Our Story

Since 2004, Building Resources established a solid reputation as an ethical builder, using traditional building practices to deliver quality affordable homes, guaranteed to last. We have helped hundreds of clients including investors, first home buyers, and families to build their forever homes or investment properties in South East Queensland, and Rockhampton and Yeppoon. 

Managing Director and founder,  Alex Jones is a qualified and licensed traditional builder with over 20 years of experience in commercial and residential construction. He is committed to building affordable contemporary homes that last, using ethical building practices and products. Jyri believes all Australians should have the opportunity to build homes, based on stylish designs, they can easily modify to suit their lifestyle and budget. 

Our services are geared to take the stress out of building with our Fixed Price contracts and Turn Key Solutions. Our list of “standard” inclusions are extensive, as we believe clients deserve quality products and services as part of their building contract. Whereas other builders consider “standard” inclusions as upgrades, and charge extra. We won’t compromise on our high standards by using inferior work practices or materials. Our values focus on delivering outstanding standards 100 percent of the time.
